Delete your account
You can delete your Unbyul account at any time, in the app or by email. This page explains how, what is removed and what we are required to keep.
Delete in the app
- Open Unbyul and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Read the summary of what will be lost, then tap Delete and confirm.
Your account is deactivated immediately: you are signed out and can no longer sign in. The data listed below is deleted within 30 days.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot open the app, email us from the address linked to your account:

- Subject: Account deletion
- Body: the nickname shown in the app
To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm ownership, for example by replying from the account email or by sending a code we email to it. Once confirmed, we complete the deletion within 7 days and send you a confirmation email.
What is deleted and when

After deletion, your data is removed from active systems, and from backups as they rotate.
What we keep and why
Some records must be kept for a fixed period under Korean law. They are stored separately from your account, used only for the legal purpose and deleted when the period ends.

Anonymous usage statistics that contain no identifier cannot be linked back to you, so they are not deleted.
Before you delete
- Coins are lost. Remaining paid and bonus coins are forfeited and are not refunded by deleting the account. If you are eligible for a refund, request it first (see Support).
- Reports are lost. Saved and unread reports are deleted with the account. Save or screenshot anything you want to keep.
- Deletion cannot be undone. Once your account is deactivated, we cannot restore it.
- Store subscriptions. Unbyul has no subscriptions today. If one is ever introduced, deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play as well.
- Coming back. You are welcome to create a new account later, but your previous data, coins and reports are not restored.
